Jaroslav Cepko

Assoc. Prof. Jaroslav Cepko, PhD is a university teacher at the Department of Philosophy, Matej Bel University, Slovakia. He serves as the departmental ECTS coordinator and study advisor.

• Teaches: History of ancient philosophy, History of medieval philosophy, Analytical reading and writing, Plato’s epistemological and ethical aspects, Christian thought of the high and late Middle Ages
• Managed projects: Fontes cynicorum (2014–2016), Christian Philosophy in Central and Eastern Europe (2014–2017)

Research focuses on ancient and medieval philosophy, ethical theory, and the intersection of Plato’s epistemology with Christian thought. His work also explores sources of cynicism and the philosophical concept of shame.
