Jared Peterson

Jared Peterson is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Civil Engineering at Merrimack College's School of Engineering and Computational Sciences. He holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College. His research focuses on Engineering Education, Structural Engineering, and Geotechnical Engineering. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in New Hampshire and has industry experience in transportation infrastructure design, particularly bridges and associated components in the Northeast US.

Teaching responsibilities include courses such as Statics, Mechanics of Materials Lab, Fluid Mechanics Lab, and the Senior Capstone Design Project. His professional experience spans private and public sectors with a focus on structural and geotechnical engineering for transportation projects.
