Jared Dillian is an Adjunct Professor in the College of Business at Coastal Carolina University, specializing in Finance and Economics. He is also the founder and principal of Armington Capital, LLC, a registered commodity trading advisor, and editor of The Daily Dirtnap, a daily market newsletter for investment professionals. Dillian holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the United States Coast Guard Academy (1996), an MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco (2001), and an MFA in Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design (2023).
