Dr Janyne Afseth is a Lecturer in the School of Health and Social Care at Edinburgh Napier University, specialising in cancer and neurological disease research with a strong emphasis on nursing education and holistic patient needs assessment.

Doctoral Supervision
Dr Afseth has successfully directed a PhD project titled Assessing and addressing unmet needs in people affected by brain tumours, completed in 2022 under the mentorship of Prof Lis Neubeck.
