Janusz Ryczkowski

Prof. Janusz Ryczkowski is a distinguished academic at the Faculty of Chemistry, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, where he leads the Department of Chemical Technology. His career spans over three decades, with significant roles including Dean (2005-2012) and coordinator of international programs like Tempus.

• Education: MSc in Chemical Sciences from Nicolaus Copernicus University (1983), PhD (1992) and Habilitation (2004) at UMCS, Professor title (2014)

Research focuses on heterogeneous catalysis and solid-state characterization using infrared photoacoustic spectroscopy. His work explores supported metal catalysts, surface reactions, and material modifications for energy applications.
