Prof. Dr. hab., Eng. Janusz Bogusz is a Professor of technical sciences in the discipline of geodesy and cartography at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Military University of Technology (WAT). He earned his master's degree in 1995 and doctoral degree in 2000 at Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), followed by a habilitation degree in 2012 from the University of Warmia and Mazury. His career spans roles as a researcher, Deputy Director of the Institute of Higher Geodesy and Geodetic Astronomy, and Prodziekan (Deputy Dean) for Science and Development at WAT since 2019.
- Education: Master's (1995) and Doctoral (2000) from Warsaw University of Technology; Habilitation (2012) from University of Warmia and Mazury.
His research focuses on physical geodesy, geodynamics, and the application of GNSS observations for studying Earth tides and lithospheric deformation. He led 7 research projects, participated in 21 as principal or co-executor, and contributed to over 170 international conference presentations. His scientific output includes 13 independent and 140+ co-authored publications, primarily in English.
