Jann Carl

Jann Carl is an Assistant Professor at the Missouri School of Journalism (University of Missouri), specializing in broadcast journalism and storytelling. A 1982 graduate of the university (BJ '82), she returns to her alma mater after a 40+ year career spanning local news, national entertainment journalism, and executive producing roles. Notably, she anchored Entertainment Tonight for 14 years and hosted the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon for 25 years.
