Janine Remillard is a Professor and Faculty Director of Teacher Education at the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE). Her work focuses on mathematics education, teacher learning, and curriculum design. She co-founded the Community Based Mathematics Project, promoting socially just, locally relevant math lessons. Remillard holds a PhD from Michigan State University and has led cross-cultural studies on curriculum use in Belgium, Finland, Sweden, and the US. She is Principal Investigator of NSF-funded MPACT project on mentor teacher development and a cross-cultural Math 3C study examining digital curriculum resources.
