Janet Rose

Janet Rose serves as Professor of the Practice and Director of The Agency at the University of Kansas' William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications. She also holds the position of Media Arts and Production Concentration Chair, shaping curriculum and academic direction for students pursuing this specialization.

Rose's research interests focus on understanding consumers and cultural trends to identify intersections of strategic business and marketing opportunity. Her educational background includes a B.A. and M.A. in English, and a Ph.D. in American Studies, all from the University of Kansas, demonstrating her deep roots with the institution where she now teaches.
