Janet Pestle

Dr. Janet Pestle serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing within the School of Public Service at Columbia College, commencing her teaching role in August 2024. With over 35 years of clinical experience in hospital environments, she brings extensive leadership expertise from roles including Chief Nurse Officer and Vice President of Patient Care, specializing in Critical Care Nursing (ICU).

Her academic credentials include:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) from University of Missouri-Columbia
• Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) from University of Missouri-Columbia
• Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) in Executive Nursing from American Sentinel University
