Janet Jones

Professor Janet Jones is Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries at the University of Westminster. She leads interdisciplinary strategy development across architecture, computer science, arts, and media programs. With 16 years of BBC experience as Executive Producer and Director of the Canadian office, she brings industry expertise to academia.

Her research explores digital narrative forms including newsgames, interactive documentary, and broadcasting policy. As an award-winning filmmaker, she investigates the intersection of creative industries with technology and engineering.
