Janet Hartley

Janet Hartley, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Management at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) within the Schmidthorst College of Business. She has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Supply Chain Management Institute (2010–2017) and Chair of the Management Department (2002–2010). Her academic career spans over 25 years, with a focus on supply chain management, digital transformation, and risk mitigation. Hartley earned her Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Missouri Institute of Science and Technology.
