Janet Fishman is an Adjunct Instructor in French at Temple University's College of Liberal Arts. A theatre artist with expertise in playwriting and adaptations, she has performed and taught extensively in the USA and France. Her creative practice spans acting workshops, literary adaptations, and collaborative productions.

Her research and artistic work focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to French literature, theatrical storytelling, and cross-cultural adaptations of folklore and classic texts. Current projects include organizing readings for her second play about a traveling theatre company in France.
