Dr. Janet Dyk is a Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, affiliated with the Religious Sources department. Her research focuses on Biblical Hebrew linguistics, translation studies, and intercultural Bible interpretation. She holds a PhD and has supervised one doctoral thesis. Key areas of expertise include the Peshitta’s translation universals, Hebrew verb morphology, and syntactic variation in ancient texts.
