Janelle Bowden

Dr. Janelle Bowden serves as an Adjunct Lecturer and Research Fellow at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Queensland, contributing to both academic instruction and research initiatives within the institution.

Her research focuses on critical areas including Medication Safety, Transitions of Care, and Pharmacy Practice Optimization. These interests align with the school's flagship projects such as the Optimising Medicine Information Handover After Discharge (OPTMED-D) initiative and the Safe and Effective Medication Collaborative, which target systemic improvements in medication management during patient care transitions.

Dr. Bowden actively participates in the Safe and Effective Medication Collaborative, a multidisciplinary research team dedicated to developing evidence-based strategies for reducing medication errors and enhancing pharmaceutical care quality in clinical environments.
