Janell Straach

Janell Straach is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Rice University. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from UT Dallas and has extensive experience bridging academia and industry, having worked at IBM and a utility organization. Her research focuses on Intelligent Systems and CyberSecurity, and she actively promotes women in technology through leadership roles in organizations like Women In CyberSecurity (WiCyS).
