Dr. Jane Webb is a Reader and Head of the School for Cross-faculty Studies at the University of Warwick. She holds a PhD in social history and material culture, with prior training in art history and anthropology. Her academic career spans over two decades, including leadership roles at Manchester School of Art (Manchester Metropolitan University) and Wolverhampton School of Art (University of Wolverhampton).
Her research focuses on material culture through visual and practice-based methodologies, engaging with archives, historical geographies, and dress collections to explore personal histories.
