Jane Sandall is Adjunct Professor in Midwifery at UTS Faculty of Health and Professor of Social Science and Women's Health at King's College London, where she leads the Maternal Health Policy, Systems and Implementation Research Group. She holds an honorary doctorate from UTS (2014).
Her research examines safety/quality in maternal health services, policy implementation, and health technology integration. Current grants total approximately £16.5 million.
Recent publications focus on improving maternal-newborn care systems, preterm birth prevention strategies, and evidence implementation in obstetric practice.
