Jane R. Schubart

Jane R. Schubart is an Associate Professor at Pennsylvania State University, with appointments in the Department of Surgery, Department of Medicine, and Department of Public Health Sciences. She is affiliated with the Penn State Cancer Institute (Cancer Control) and serves as a Patient Outcomes Research Advisor for The Ehlers-Danlos Society.

Her research focuses on health outcomes after surgery, particularly in complex and chronic illnesses such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS). She has led projects using data from the National Institute on Aging cohort study (2001-2013) and the STRETCH Project (2018-2020) to advance patient-centered research in EDS.
