Jane Owen

Jane Owen is a part-time PhD student in the School of Education at the University of Worcester. Her research focuses on nature-based activities to support older teenagers' mental health, specifically examining qualitative approaches to address emerging mental health issues among college students. She concurrently serves as a Lecturer at Shrewsbury Colleges Group in Shropshire.

Her sole publication to date, Into the Forest (2020), appears in the BACP's Coaching Today Journal, exploring nature-based therapeutic approaches. Supervisors include Professor Stephen Parker and Dr. Gabriela Misca.
