Jane J. Kim

Jane J. Kim serves as Dean for Academic Affairs and the K.T. Li Professor of Health Economics at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, holding dual appointments in the Department of Health Policy and Management and the Center for Health Decision Science.

Her educational background includes:

• Master of Science in Health Policy and Management, Harvard School of Public Health (2001)
• PhD in Health Policy and Decision Sciences, Harvard University (2005)

Dr. Kim pioneers mathematical modeling approaches for health policy analysis, specializing in women's health economics. Her groundbreaking work evaluates cost-effectiveness of cervical cancer and HPV-related disease prevention strategies through global collaborations with the U.S. National Cancer Institute, WHO, and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. As principal investigator of the NCI-sponsored CISNET consortium, she develops disease simulation models to quantify impacts of cancer control interventions.
