Jane Fisher

Professor Jane Fisher is a leading academic in Global Health, serving as Director of Global and Women’s Health and Co-Director of the Planetary Health Division at Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Her work focuses on social determinants of health, gender-based risks to mental health, and early childhood development in diverse global settings. She has led over 80 research projects, including major studies in Vietnam, Nepal, and Fiji, emphasizing equity and policy impact.
