Jane Anderson

Jane Anderson is an Adjunct Instructor of Trumpet at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) and teaches PreK-4th grade general music at Trinity Lutheran School in Toledo, Ohio. She holds a B.A. in Trumpet Performance from New Mexico State University and an M.A. from BGSU, studying under Dr. Pancho Romero and Charles Saenz.

As a performer, she serves as principal trumpet in the Adrian Symphony Orchestra and third trumpet in the Lansing Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed with the Jackson, Southwest Michigan, and Lima Symphonies, Toledo Choral Society, and Tower Brass Quintet. Her accolades include top placements in national competitions, reflecting her expertise in brass performance.

Jane maintains an active private trumpet studio with students in Ohio and New Mexico, many of whom achieve superior ratings in festivals and All-State ensembles. Her pedagogical focus emphasizes both classical and contemporary performance techniques.
