Janaki Patel

Janaki G. Patel, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology and Co-Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Program at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She joined the Department of Neurology in 2024 after completing vascular neurology training at University of Michigan under Dawn Kleindorfer, MD and Devin Brown, MD. Her clinical focus spans stroke treatment in young adults, cardioembolic stroke, hypercoagulable states, sickle cell disease, CNS vasculitis, and stroke etiology analysis.
