Jana Roberts is a Research Professor and Program Leader for Research in the Online Doctoral Leadership Studies program at Trevecca Nazarene University's Office of Graduate and Adult Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Trevecca, an Advanced Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management (Cornell University), a Master’s in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling (Bowling Green State University), and a Bachelor’s degree from Doane University. She is also a certified measurement specialist through the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University.
With nearly 30 years of experience in higher education administration and human resources, Dr. Roberts focuses on student-centered leadership development. Her research interests include leadership identity, mentorship practices, and institutional effectiveness. She actively contributes to professional organizations such as the International Leadership Association and the Association of Leadership Educators.
As a dissertation advisor and course instructor, she supports doctoral students in their academic journeys. Her work emphasizes practical leadership skills and organizational improvement strategies.
