Jan van den Ende

Jan van den Ende is a Full Professor of Management of Technology and Innovation at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University. He is also Professor of Horticulture Innovation and a Visiting Professor at LUISS Università Guido Carli in Rome, Italy, reflecting his broad academic engagement across disciplines and institutions.

His research centers on the development of new products and services, with a focus on idea management, control of NPD projects, design management, and sustainable innovation. His work is deeply interdisciplinary, spanning innovation management, organizational studies, and strategic management, as reflected in his publications in top journals such as Research Policy, Harvard Business Review, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
