Jan van Rijn is an Assistant Professor at Leiden University's Faculty of Science, affiliated with the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS) and the Automated Design of Algorithms (ADA) cluster. His research focuses on Trustworthy AI, automated machine learning (AutoML), and metalearning, with emphasis on robustness and transparency in AI systems.
