Jan Rouwendal is a Full Professor of Spatial Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam's School of Business and Economics, and a research fellow at Tinbergen Institute and Amsterdam School of Real Estate. He holds a PhD from VU Amsterdam (1988) and a master's from Erasmus University Rotterdam (1983).
