Jan Rothhardt

Dr. Jan Rothhardt serves as a Researcher at the Helmholtz Institute Jena, a joint venture between the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research and Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (FSU Jena). He is affiliated with the Institute of Applied Physics at FSU Jena in Jena, Germany, where he conducts research using advanced laser facilities including POLARIS, JETI40, and JETI200 for high-energy density physics experiments.

Rothhardt's research focuses on high-intensity laser physics, relativistic plasma dynamics, quantum electrodynamics in extreme fields, and X-ray spectroscopy techniques.
