Jan Patrick Heiss

Jan Patrick Heiss is a Senior Lecturer and senior researcher at the University of Zurich's Department of Anthropology, with extensive fieldwork experience in Niger, Nigeria, Chad, and Togo. He studied ethnology, African linguistics, and philosophy in Frankfurt, Edinburgh, and Berlin, completing his doctorate at Bayreuth University on peasant fieldwork in Niger.
