Welcome to the website of the Chair of Civil Law, Insurance Law, and Private International Law at Leibniz University Hannover. The chair belongs to the House of Insurance and focuses on legal research and education in civil law, insurance law, and international private law. Current projects include contributions to transnational insurance law and reinsurance contract law through the international Principles of Reinsurance Contract Law (PRICL) initiative.
