Jan Jacob Schuringa

Prof. Jan Jacob Schuringa is a Professor of Experimental Hematology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). His research focuses on hematopoietic and leukemic stem cells, particularly in the context of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). He holds roles on the Scientific Advisory Boards of the Dutch Cancer Society and Worldwide Cancer Research. Schuringa's work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being.
