Jan Fransoo

Jan Fransoo is a Professor of Operations and Logistics Management at Tilburg School of Economics and Management, Tilburg University. He teaches at Tilburg University, TIAS, and MIT. His research focuses on supply chain management, operations management, and logistics, with current emphasis on retail logistics in developing/emerging markets. Collaborators include manufacturers, tech startups, and institutions like the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank. He also studies omnichannel retail, intermodal transport, urban logistics, and has domain expertise in food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
