Jan Egil Afset

Jan Egil Afset is a Professor in the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine at NTNU's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. His research focuses on understanding bacterial pathogenesis in bloodstream infections and sepsis, particularly involving Group B Streptococcus, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli.
