Jan Dirk Jansen

Prof. Jan Dirk Jansen (Delft University of Technology) specializes in systems and control theory applied to subsurface flow and geomechanics. His research spans induced seismicity, geothermal energy, reservoir simulation, and data assimilation. Current projects include co-leading the NWO-funded NEPTUNUS initiative on transient induced seismicity and previously researching seismicity mitigation in Dutch gas fields through the Science4Steer program.
