Jan Christian Sahl

Jan Christian Sahl is an attorney-at-law and a visiting professor for constitutional law at Humboldt University Berlin. He serves as founder and CEO of welobby, a lobbying platform for citizens and non-profit organisations, and holds an Associated Researcher position at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) within the 'Knowledge, education, innovation' research programme.

His research centers on digital transformation's societal impact, specifically analyzing how startup methodologies and emerging technologies—including blockchain, data analytics, and artificial intelligence—can optimize legislative processes and public administration efficiency. This interdisciplinary work bridges constitutional law with digital innovation in institutional contexts.
