Jamie Nesbit

Dr. Jamie Nesbit is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University's School of Pharmacy and Health Professions in Phoenix, AZ. She holds certifications as a board-certified clinical specialist in neurologic and geriatric physical therapy (PT, CPT, NCS, GCS). Her roles include Chair of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Health Promotion and Wellness Committee and board member for the Parkinson Foundation Southwest Chapter. She also serves as an item writer for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE®).

Her research focuses on health promotion for neurologic disorders, culturally competent care, and physical therapy education. Clinically, she specializes in neurologic, geriatric, and health promotion/wellness domains. She maintains academic appointments in the Phoenix-based Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Outside academia, she balances family life with her wife and two children, alongside caring for two energetic dogs.
