Jamie Morgan

Jamie Morgan is a Professor at Leeds Business School, Leeds Beckett University. He co-edits the Real World Economics Review (RWER), the world's largest open-source economics journal, and serves on the editorial board of multiple journals. His work spans economics, political economy, philosophy, sociology, and international politics.

Research interests include:

• Contemporary socio-economic issues like Brexit, Trump, corporate tax avoidance, financialisation, and climate change
• Artificial intelligence and social change
• Modern forms of slavery
• Philosophy, methodology, and pedagogy of economics

He supervises PhD students across his research areas and contributes to public discourse through the RWER Blog and World Economics Association (WEA) affiliations. Jamie is based at the Rose Bowl, City Campus.
