Jamie Marinis serves as an Assistant Professor at Tiffin University, teaching communication and Dragon Education Core courses while leading as Chair of Cultural Immersion. In this role, she designs and organizes international study experiences, short-term cultural trips abroad, and local immersion programs to enhance student learning.

With over two decades in higher education, Professor Marinis specializes in student advising, international affairs, and enrollment management. Her work centers on empowering students through cross-cultural engagement, leveraging her own experiences as a Kent State alumna to guide learners in balancing academic and personal growth. She emphasizes collaborative leadership and individualized mentorship to cultivate future innovators.
As Chair of Cultural Immersion, she develops transformative global learning opportunities while maintaining deep community ties in Tiffin. She actively contributes as Facilitator of the Seneca County CEO program and Assistant Cheerleading Coach at Calvert High School, demonstrating her commitment to holistic student development both inside and outside the classroom.
