Jamie Falk

Dr. Jamie Falk is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba's College of Pharmacy and an extended practice pharmacist with the Department of Family Medicine. His research program evaluates treatment and testing patterns in chronic disease management, focusing on diabetes, COPD, chronic pain, and acute antibiotic/opioid use.

Falk's work aims to optimize prescribing practices through evidence-based approaches, leveraging Manitoba's health databases to inform clinical practice and policy. He co-chairs the annual Medications, Evidence, and Decision Support Conference and contributes to national guideline development through the PEER Project Team.

His clinical practice integrates research insights to reduce patient burden while improving therapeutic outcomes through medication optimization strategies.
