Dr. Jamie Draper is an Assistant Professor in the Ethics Institute at Utrecht University's Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. His research focuses on political philosophy, addressing issues of environmental, social, and global justice, particularly climate displacement, migration, and urban politics. He holds a PhD from the University of Reading (2020) and previously served as a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford, and a Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick. Dr. Draper is an Associate Editor at Res Publica and a 2025 member of the Utrecht Young Academy.
