Jamie Bunce

Dr. Jamie Bunce is a Teaching Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Choral Studies at Kansas State University's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. She holds a DMA in choral conducting from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, alongside degrees from Westminster Choir College and Rutgers University. Her research focuses on underrepresented composers in early and contemporary choral music, highlighted by her pioneering analysis of Sarah Kirkland Snider's 'Mass for the Endangered.'

Her professional roles include conducting ensembles like the Wagner College Treble Choir and collaborating with groups such as the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir. She is also active in arranging early American folk music for choral performance. Dr. Bunce has been recognized for integrating early music into educational settings, as noted in Chorus America.
