Jamie Beck

Dr. Jamie Beck is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bradford, working within the Faculty of Health Studies and the School of Allied Health Prof. & Midwifery.

Dr. Beck qualified as a radiographer in 2000 and worked in clinical practice before joining the University of Bradford in 2005. They have achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice (2007), a Master of Science (2011), and a Doctor of Philosophy (2022).

Dr. Beck's research focuses on medicolegal practice, ethics, and forensic practice. Their work bridges the gap between medical practice and legal frameworks, with particular attention to ethical considerations in healthcare settings.

As an educator, Dr. Beck teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with a focus on ethics, legal medicine, anatomy and physiology, and forensics. Their clinical background as a radiographer informs their teaching approach, bringing practical experience to theoretical concepts.
