James Warren Boyd is a Lecturer at San Francisco State University, affiliated with the Department of Communication Studies and the College of Extended Learning. He earned a B.A. in History from UCLA and holds advanced degrees including an M.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Communication Studies: Performance Studies from SF State, along with Graduate Certificates in College Composition and Reading.
His research interests focus on communication pedagogy, storytelling, performance, and student intellectual development. He aims to foster critical examination of the world through academic exploration and public speaking.
