James V. Freeman

James V. Freeman, MD, MPH, MS is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiovascular Medicine) at Yale School of Medicine, serving as Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Director of the Yale Atrial Fibrillation Program. He specializes in treating complex arrhythmias, left atrial appendage occlusion, and implantable cardiac devices. His research focuses on comparative effectiveness, outcomes, and safety of therapies for arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure, with funding from NIH and the American College of Cardiology.
