James Simmons

James Simmons is an Assistant Professor of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Shawnee State University. His office is located in MAS441 and he can be contacted at (740) 351-3341. Dr. Simmons holds a B.A. from Carleton College, an M.S. from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a Ph.D. from Purdue University.

His research interests focus on fundamental and applied physics principles across multiple domains including theoretical frameworks and experimental applications.
