Dr. James Shea is a Principal Lecturer and Initial Teacher Education Portfolio Leader at the University of Bedfordshire's School of Education. He oversees undergraduate and postgraduate teacher education programs and chairs key committees such as the Recruitment Committee and Mentor Development Committee. His research focuses on retrieval practice, neuroscience in education, handwriting interventions, and technology integration.
