James Rubenstein

Dr. James Rubenstein is a Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Hematology/Oncology, specializing in neuro-oncology and hematologic malignancies. He earned his MD from Cornell University Medical College and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience from The Rockefeller University.

Rubenstein has received prestigious awards from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, National Cancer Institute, and NIH, including multiple R01 grants for CNS lymphoma research. Current projects include clinical trials for relapsed CNS lymphoma and liquid biopsy applications in neuro-oncology.
