James Rhodes is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Sociology at the University of Manchester. His career includes an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Leeds (2008–2009), a Simon Research Fellowship at Manchester (2009–2012), and a visiting scholar role at Youngstown State University. He holds an honorary position at UCL and contributes to editorial work for Identities: Global Studies in Culture and Power.
