James Parkin

Dr. James Parkin is a Research Fellow in Air Pollution at the University of Southampton. His work focuses on understanding the health impacts of air pollutants, particularly automotive brake wear particles and vanadium exposure. Recent studies include investigations into cellular homeostasis disruptions and stress response signaling in alveolar epithelial cells. He has collaborated on projects comparing the toxicity of particulate matter from brakewear, roadwear, and diesel exhaust.
